Children Are Our Future!

Let's Give Them Every Opportunity To Learn!

Music Can Change Lives!

Melody the Monkey’s Workshop supports children's services such as daycare centers, libraries, and individual children by providing inspiring and creative music skills to kids.

Melody the Monkey’s Workshop is proud to have directly impacted the lives of over 3700 children through our books, workshops, and educational programs.

(Revised 12/31/25)

Melody the Monkey’s Workshop goal is to be able to reach all children, wherther it be in their own neighborhood or virtually with materials that will inspire them to create and use music as eductional tools and to provide them with resources that have already been established.

The workshop’s mission is to empower all children, including the underprivileged, very young, and special needs, to learn through music by giving them even more educational tools for lifelong learning.

Our vision is to become the global leader in giving children a larger voice and more educational tools to inspire more creativity and learning experiences.

Why Melody the Monkey's Workshop?

Where every note sparks a new melody!

Melody the Monkey's Workshop was started in order to reach children and others with a musical source to learn.

This is being accomplished through live readings and music workshops for all both in live venues and virtually. It takes two familiar ideas and merges them into a new and innovative way of learning. It is kind of like "Sesame Street" meets the original "School of Rock". There are adorable characters that welcome children and they learn through music.

Everything is taught through music. Whether it is reading, math, science, history, music and empowering children and giving them a stepping stone for life-long learning through more educational tools in a repeatable way through music.

Music is vital to the development and continued growth of society. Even in olden times history was passed on by minstrels and bards. Most teach children the alphabet through song. Many remember the phone number from the song "Jenny" from the 80's because it was done through music. Many teachers use Billy Joel's song "We Didn't Start the Fire" to help teach history. There is so much research on how music can help individuals learn. Teachers all over the United States are trying to come up with their own songs and platforms to teach in the school systems.

Music is a resource that all can use to learn and retain knowledge and skills throughout life. Melody the Monkey's Workshop is trying to provide a repeatable and estabished way to do this.

Music can be experienced by everyone in some way in spite of their age, developmental level and capabilities. They just need the tools. Music can do this!

The more ways a person learns something, the more they will remember. There are stroke victims that can't talk, but can sing. People with Parkinson may not remember simple everyday things, but can still can communicate through music. It has been studied and found that those who take music lessons have advanced brain development and better memories. Why not give the children this life-long ability to learn?

Why songs make learning

stick

and why

help.

Music can achieve more goals where other methods have failed!

Music has been taken out of many schools, creating a deficit in learning – especially for those who need it the most.

We learn through music! Our ABC's, history, grammar – why not give more of those repeatable resources to our children?  They are our future and it is their creativity and knowledge that will take us to the future.

Melody the Monkey wants to teach children everything from music to history, how to deal with mental health, science, geography, and more.

The workshop is raising funds to get more books published on many subjects as well as covering expenses for live in-person and virtual music workshops to help educate children through music. It is and investment in the future!

As the workshop grows, books will be covering many subjects such as music, letter, opposites, math, science, mental health, the presidents of the USA, how thlearn a parent's phone number and much more.

Money is needed to fund the publication of these books as well as costs for live-in person virtual workshops, so that the workshop can get them to the kids and their cargivers and teachers.
